The first section of these poems were written while hiking segments of the Ice Age Trail in Wisconsin, Taylor County specifically. The second half of the collection are poems erased, compressed, and numbered from the introduction to Hinrich Rink’s History, Myth, and Legends of the [Inuit] People.
